ESD CONTROL / ESD AUDIT & EVALUATION
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) is ever present around us! Each time we walk across the carpet, we may generate kilovolts of static electricity. The quick change in static voltage and burst of current produce a powerful electromagnetic field which can destroy semiconductor components & circuit assemblies and result in malfunction of electronic equipment….. Any organization, that manufactures electronic assemblies, or any facility, that handles ESD sensitive devices or assemblies, are susceptible to damage by ESD and should have an ESD Control Program.
Regular ESD audits are essential for a good ESD control program. They verify all ESD-control practices & products, frequently remind associates of their responsibilities, and provide management with the necessary feedback for any corrective action.
Skolnik Technical will effectively conduct well-documented analysis of your ESD environment and ensure an unbiased report. Our highly qualified ESDC (Electrostatic Discharge Control) consultant, certified by iNARTE (The International Association of Radio & Telecommunications Engineers, Inc.), with numerous years of skills and knowledge in ESD control and technical excellence in training, know-how and job performance, will conduct the audit. The ESD audits are performed, utilizing test instruments with calibration certificates traceable to accepted National Standards and are in accordance with the applicable EOS/ESD recognized standards.
