Diodes 101 (Basic Diode Theories & Applications)

The poor diode.......it is so often taken for granted!  Not much emphasis is put on this little two-terminal passive discrete component, yet it is the essential, critical, unique building block of the bipolar transistor.  And as we are aware, the transistor is a fundamental element of most of the electronics applications.   There are not too many circuit designs that do not include one form or another of the diode.

Based on numerous customers' requests, we offer two seminars for the understanding of diodes – "Diodes 101" & "Diodes 201".

"Diodes 101" will discuss the basic theories & applications of diodes, including the fundamental circuits.  This seminar is designed to complement and to enhance what you have learned in school and also serves as a great refresher if you have not worked with diodes in a while.

"Diodes 201" is the subsequent, intermediate seminar with the study of more exotic, sophisticated types of devices and their associated designs.

Our instructor understands that your work is important to you and that you want the right training which meets your requirements, and that’s why we offer the flexibility to customize our training to address your specific needs.

Although a specific curriculum/agenda is presently established for each particular training class, on the first day of class, our expert trainer will inquire you about your work, what you already know, and what you would like to learn, to enable him/her to tailor the existing course to the precise needs of your job applications, as necessary.

We want to provide you with the best, value-added training available, that is advantageous to you and to your business organization!
