IPC-A-610 RE-CERTIFICATION FOR APPLICATION SPECIALIST:
This IPC-A-610 “Operator Proficiency” re-certification class is designed for students who are currently certified to IPC-A-610. The purpose of this class is to assist electronic manufacturers to produce high quality products at the lowest possible cost by providing a greater understanding of the soldering and assembly processes through our first-rate "IPC standard” continual training.
It is a 2-day extensive review of the IPC-A-610 Specification. The students will participate in a discussion and an overview of the IPC-A-610 document. When there are revisions and/or amendments to this standard, students will discuss the applicable changes. At the conclusion of the class, students will be subjected to a written examination.
Students who successfully complete this class will be awarded an IPC-A-610 Operator Proficiency Certification, which is valid for two (2) years. For ongoing reference, students may purchase their own copy of the IPC-A-610 Specification at an additional cost.
The IPC-A-610 Operator Proficiency Certificate is valid for 24 months. It is important to get re-certified before your certification expires.
